The 2020-21 fellowship cohort is the 48th class of fellows! The class is comprised of 284 fellows sponsored by AAAS and partner societies. Of these, 30 serve in Congress, one at the Federal Judicial Center, and 253 in the executive branch among 17 agencies or departments.
Emmanuella, an Executive Branch Fellow from 2011 to 2013 who went on to serve as an Overseas Fellow in Indonesia from 2013 to 2015, transitioned into policy from an academic research position in biomedical sciences at St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Read more about her Overseas Fellowship.
