Current Fellows

The 2020-21 fellowship cohort is the 48th class of fellows! The class is comprised of 284 fellows sponsored by AAAS and partner societies. Of these, 30 serve in Congress, one at the Federal Judicial Center, and 253 in the executive branch among 17 agencies or departments.

Featured Fellow

Emmanuella Delva

Emmanuella, an Executive Branch Fellow from 2011 to 2013 who went on to serve as an Overseas Fellow in Indonesia from 2013 to 2015, transitioned into policy from an academic research position in biomedical sciences at St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Read more about her Overseas Fellowship.

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are formed and managed by current and alumni fellows.  They provide fellows with a forum to meet and discuss issues related to areas of specific interest. Click here to see the full list of affinity groups and to learn how you can get involved.
