Current Fellows

The 2020-21 fellowship cohort is the 48th class of fellows! The class is comprised of 284 fellows sponsored by AAAS and partner societies. Of these, 30 serve in Congress, one at the Federal Judicial Center, and 253 in the executive branch among 17 agencies or departments.

Rashada Alexander

STPF has a new Director! Rashada says she “operated best when I was engaged [both] in the laboratory and outside of it.” She became involved in student organizations and later became a 2009-11 fellow at NIH. Speaking of STPF, she said the “program builds a cadre of people who can step into a complex problem and figure out processes that can help solve it, and work together to figure out what is sustainable and how to get stakeholders on board.” Read more
