Dr. Max Olender was a Policy Fellow and Health Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, working in Small business Education and Entrepreneurial Development within the Office of the Director. There he collaborated with staff across NIH and other federal agencies to enhance existing programs and establish new initiatives to advance biomedical discoveries from lab to market. Olender previously worked for Senator Bob Casey as a Congressional Fellow with the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions' Subcommittee on Children and Families majority staff. He focused on public health, innovation, and regulation, with a portfolio encompassing the FDA, NIH, and CDC.
