Another atmospheric scientist has great career news: Peter DeCarlo, 2010-11 fellow at the Environmental Protection Agency, is now an associate professor at Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on atmospheric measurements with applications to indoor and outdoor air quality and climate. “STPF helped me structure a research program to work on interesting questions with direct policy relevance, and to be comfortable speaking with policymakers.”
Atmospheric scientist Shree Mishra (2014-15 fellow at the Department of Energy Solar Technologies Office) has beenappointed as program director for the Lower Atmosphere Observing Facilities (LAOF) at the National Science Foundation. She oversees a portfolio of multi-user national facilities (aircraft, remote sensing systems, etc.) for use by the geosciences research community.
